- If an airport is really serious about it’s storm water management plan, it would enforce deicing location policies already in place. If you do not constantly remind the carriers operation centers of their responsibilities in this regard, they will deice where ever they choose, based on time and convenience. No real thought of being a good environmental steward comes into play when “time is money”, UNLESS you fine them for their conduct.
