Back to service time is essential. I hear the average dry time is less than 45 minutes and it can typically handle weight loads is less than 30 minutes.

For partial-depth pavement repair, are flexible products in higher demand than let’s say, Asphalt or regular concrete? I would think that in areas that have almost reached their full-term life expectancy, it would be prudent to go with the lower cost products. Let’s say there is a 5 year life left on that pavement—

Hell-we spend $10,000 a year on faded signs. Continually looking for other ways to spend that money but keep coming up short with signage shelf-life!! Come on–someone turn the light on for me.

The operative word of the day is subjectivity. What I fear the most is the domino effect that can and has taken place by pilots hearing a “poor” from other pilots therefore piggy-backing on that particular report. Bob–please clarify as to the timing of your airports needs for staffing. Are you referring to winter or snow season? Size of airport?

This whole revision thing was needed but I still am trying to get a grasp on Pilots thoughts from one airport to another. Since no one operations officer thinks like the next one when observing and documenting airfield conditions, pilot breaking reports would seem to influence friction response more so. Thoughts?

Yep. Mechanics in the snowbelt are gearing up for another winter. We need to finalize our checklists before October 15th so that the equipment operators can begin conducting their field trials. Here are just some of the things we do:
Engines–change all filters (air/oil/fuel and coolant)
Send engine oil out for laboratory analysis

Our overheating problem was caused by one of the rear axle lock pins sticking. The cooler is not a bad idea though.
