In Michigan, the Air Pollution Control Rules require that you keep the cover over the “parts wash sink” at all times when not being used. I heard that you actually have to have “stickers” placed in clear view of the washer that summarize the rules. Is MIOSHA strictly enforcing this or is it an E.P.A. thing?

This is a MIOSHA (OSHA) thing. It is also a safety thing when it comes to locations that may have open flame and or welding nearby. It is just a good practice regardless of regulations.
